Do you need to fall out of love

As Tina Turner sang, what has love got to do with it?

Of course, these are my opinion’s and the idea’s of a particular branch of philosophy I follow, that’s a philosophy for being happy and it’s also recognized as a philosophy of achievement.

Ever wondered what love is or means and how do you know you’re in love? Here goes, you can only love what you value or you can only love someone that has the correct values. I will explain, you could ask a person, do you love your wife or husband? They will probably without hesitation reply yes! Okay, let us say, Mr’s Jones, is married to, Mr. Jones. Now Mr. Jones has been caught having several affairs including a couple before they were married, he would rather spend money on smoking, drink, gambling, drugs and what makes him happy, he lies, has no aim or ambition in life to better himself and in general, has no redeeming qualities. An outsider looking on would probably struggle to understand how any woman could love a man like this.

It’s worth pointing out that if you asked Mr. Jones do you love your wife he would probably say yes. So, how could Mr. Jones do anything to harm someone he loves, his wife? Simple, he has absolutely no value for his wife, her feelings and the impact his actions has on their marriage. In other words, he can’t possibly love his wife!

So what’s going on when a man or woman could be with someone that has no qualities? It’s probably a combination of low self-esteem, they’re trapped in the relationship due to finances, they’re being guided by the way they feel, meaning, it’s just easier to put up with the person than go through the turmoil a divorce would cause and last but not least the person’s subconscious mind has skewwhiff ideas about what they are attracted to.

You’ve probably heard the phrase, it’s an acquired taste, over time a person develops an ideal type of person to be with. These are mostly physical attributes such as short, tall, blue/brown eyes etc. However, probably by accident, while developing all these obvious tastes all the other, not very helpful, crap gets programmed into the subconscious mind.

How many times have you heard someone say what on earth is that nice good looking person doing with him or her he/she could do much better than that! It’s simple really, even the nice good looking person’s conscious mind knows they could do much better than the unattractive loser they’ve ended up with. Unfortunately, the subconscious mind has other ideas about who an ideal person is for you. The subconscious mind is reluctant to allow you to let go of a perfect match to whatever is programmed into the subconscious and will compel you to stay with this perfect match even if your conscious is screaming at you to get rid of them!

There are probably a few ways that a person could benefit from hypnosis to fall out of love with someone.

1, If you find you are constantly ending up with someone that causes nothing but turmoil in your life and there are few good times you are probably being drawn to the wrong type for you.

2, Most of your relationships have been okay but it’s just one person needs to be dealt with (get them out of your head), Kyle Minogue this time.

3, You’ve been in a relationship that was okay but you’ve both mutually agreed it’s time to move on but you can’t let go of the person.

If you would like any more information on how I can help you be free to be in a good relationship please contact me anytime.

Many thanks

Do you think you are an alcoholic

Let’s ruffle a few feathers, can’t help it the maverick in me won’t allow me to accept dribble and nonsense especially in the therapy world.

As a hypnotherapist, it’s very rare for me to work with what I consider a true alcoholic. This may surprise some of you but fortunately, it’s few and far between. Of course what I’m about to write is my opinion based on my experience of working with people and alcohol. This means it’s irrelevant if you agree or not, either way, I don’t care but if yourself or someone you know is having difficulty with alcohol you may find it helpful.

Due to the complex nature of this subject, I will need to do this in several sections.

See if you agree or disagree with my opinions about alcohol and what I think makes someone a true alcoholic.

Firstly I say alcohol is a recreational mind-bending drug that people drink to change the way they feel. So are people morally right to be partaking in the recreational drug alcohol? For sure all walks of life drink alcohol to celebrate, relax, drown their sorrows or just for the sake of it. Drinking alcohol is legal in certain circumstances but if you get caught drinking and driving you’re in serious trouble. A police officer could arrest you for being drunk and disorderly but the police officer may drink alcohol him/herself. I find it strange that you can drink alcohol but if you drink too much alcohol you could be arrested. If you don’t drink alcohol you’re in the minority and probably will be labeled as boring. Drink too much alcohol you get into trouble and get labeled an alcoholic.

Below I’ve listed some potential measures I’ve come up with what may contribute to being labeled an alcoholic. It could be one or more of them, see if any match your idea of an alcoholic.

1, You watch the clock, 4,5,6 o’clock comes you have to have an alcoholic drink if you don’t you get agitated and don’t know what to do with yourself.

2, You just can’t relax and get to sleep without drinking alcohol.

3, You just can’t take or leave drinking alcohol like you used to.

4, You drink alcohol to relieve boredom.

5, You drink to oblivion and can’t stop.

6, You can keep off alcohol but when you drink alcohol you loose days.

7, You crave alcohol as soon as you wake up.

8, You can’t control the amount of alcohol you drink in one sitting.

9, You just have one glass of wine (drink) every night.

10, You just drink one night of the week.

11, You don’t drink too much alcohol like some people you know.

12, You cause arguments or make more out of a day to day stresses so you can drink alcohol.

There’s just a few off the top of my head. However, I wouldn’t consider any of the above to be a trait of an alcoholic. In a nutshell, it’s not the amount, frequency or that you can’t control drinking that makes you an alcoholic. In my opinion being a true alcoholic is a person’s particular person that comes in contact with alcohol that’s the real problem. The person with a certain personality trait brought together with alcohol turns into an alcoholic. This means that a person might not drink that much alcohol that often but I could still consider them to be an alcoholic. On the other side of the coin, a person could be drinking loads of alcohol and I still wouldn’t consider them an alcoholic.

A true alcoholic has no genuine interest in stopping drinking alcohol, sure they will go through the motions, accept help from others (as long as they don’t have to pay for it), do plenty of saying I want to stop drinking alcohol, declare they are alcoholic and it’s not their fault. Basically, say and do anything to keep drinking alcohol, keep the bailouts and forgiveness coming.

A true alcoholic tends to have a stinking attitude in general and especially around alcohol. Here’s the interesting bit. I believe I nor any other form of therapy could help a true alcoholic. Basically, no therapy can change a person personality, attitude or bring about a desire to stop drinking. In fact, if this type of person came in contact with gambling, smoking, drugs or food I or no one could help them.

Voodoo hypnosis

A client came to see me for help with dealing with some mental health issues. This client was originally from Africa but now lived in the UK.

This client had been to other so-called hypnotherapists while she had been living in the UK. The client reports while attending these hypnotherapists for help she received all kinds of other therapies but reports no positive results.

I believe that it doesn’t matter what the subject is human ego, greed and laziness motivates people to cut corners to try to get things done quickly and cheaply. Unfortunately, cutting corners has a knock on effect where a particular subject can lose its effectiveness, the subject becomes open to the Chinese whispers effect where you end up with dribble and nonsense.

Every subject that’s worth knowing has a structure that’s learned so it can then be passed on to other people. I will explain, the structure of the English language is the alphabet. If you added or took away a letter from the English language you’ve just destroyed the whole English language.

On a daily basis, I get reports from clients who have been elsewhere for all kinds of so-called hypnotherapy. These clients informed me of all kinds of approaches being taken none resemble real hypnotherapy. Here’s an example, client reports going and paying for hypnotherapy. The client was invited into the so-called hypnotherapists house, the client is asked to take a seat. This client is attending for fear of flying hypnosis. The so-called hypnotherapist fumbles around behind the client setting a CD up to play. The so-called hypnotherapist says to the client have a listen to that I’ll be back in a while. The so-called hypnotherapist leaves the room for about forty minutes then returns. I’ve lost count of a number of clients who have had a similar experience. This playing a CD approach has never been hypnotherapy nor will it ever be. Of course, the so-called hypnotherapist does this day in and day out and probably charges top dollar. (I don’t care how much anyone charges for hypnotherapy as long as they are receiving hypnotherapy) If you ever end up in a similar situation please explain to the so-called hypnotherapist it would be a better idea to swap places. That’s you stick the CD on then they listen to it and you charge them top dollar for doing so.

Now back to the African lady client who’s attending my hypnotherapy practice for some mental health issues.  To cut a long story short, I emerged this African lady from hypnosis, as I emerged her she had a big smile on her face which turned into laughter. I asked what she found so funny? Her reply was her sister used to have some very serious mental health issues. Her sister was encouraged to visit a man who lived in the village in Africa for help. Now my client explained that she was there while the man in the village helped her sister break free from her mental health issues. My client said after seeing the man in the village her sister has been free from her mental health issues. My client explained the reason for her laughter was that the way I was doing hypnotherapy with her was almost identical to the way the man in the village in Africa was working with her sister. My client then explained that the man back in the village in Africa was the local witch doctor.

This demonstrates that done correctly hypnotherapy no matter where or who was performing it would be almost identical in its structure and performance. I can almost guarantee anyone you won’t find a witch doctor sticking a CD then disappearing for forty mins and calling it hypnotherapy.

Many thanks

Weight loss motivation

Are you wondering why you just can’t get as motivated as you would like to be about losing weight? After all, you’re not at all happy being overweight are you. Of course, you know you would feel better and have more confidence if you were at your ideal body weight.

Are you struggling to understand how one part of you would more than anything like to be slim but as soon as you go on a diet a more powerful part of you urges you to break the diet.

Here’s why you lack the motivation to do what’s necessary to lose weight. Simple really, you know you’re going to fail at weight loss because you’ve got evidence that you’ve failed every time before to lose weight and maintain that weight loss. You now know there’s no point attempting another diet because for sure you will drop pounds but as you know you will put it all back on and more!

Weight loss hypnosis is the only way to access the part of the mind that urges you to break your diet, your subconscious mind.

Stupidity personified

A client came to see me for anxiety and worrying, he complains of over analyzing anything that he experiences on a day to day basis. This worrying is creating great turmoil within himself and destroying his quality of life. After his session of hypnotherapy, he gave me his feedback about the changes. The client states he has a strange feeling of feeling distant from people around him and a part of him won’t allow him to engage with negative people who have a bad habit of gossiping, calling people behind their back’s and general negativity. I explained to this client that in my opinion, it’s your subconscious mind protecting you from entering into any sort of contact with people or situations that are likely to bring turmoil into your life. The client then shows concern that there won’t be anyone left in his life or very few people. Correct, I replied, there won’t! I often say to clients when you’re right in your mind the world will be a very different place and you just won’t allow the negative people to draw you into their dribble and nonsense.

No one fully understands the human mind no matter how many qualifications they have, at best, as a hypnotherapist, you have ideas, certain guides, rules of hypnosis and of the mind. This means I or no one knows if they are working with the mind to its full potential. Most days I work with a client for 1 1/2 – 2hrs with a session of hypnotherapy. When I explain to clients that this is how much time we need it tends to surprise them. However, I know in some cases and some issues it’s possible to remove the problem within a few minutes, less than five minutes. Eh, what, how is this possible? Well, I know it’s possible because I’ve done it.

Here’s the point of this article….. I’ve just stated in some cases we can clear some issues up within a few minutes. This, in my opinion, is only possible with a good client. A good client gets it, they’ve got the intelligence to grasp the concept of hypnotherapy, they understand that they know absolutely nothing about hypnosis, they understand their opinions, ideas expectations are not going to change any concept of their session, they understand that they are not required to fully understand hypnotherapy, they understand they are paying me to help them achieve their goals and the fact that they are paying me means they are paying for a skill that they don’t have. These clients are a pleasure to work with.

On the other side of the coin in some cases you can get a client that’s is desperate for help, has tried every therapy known to man including being drugged up to the eyeballs on medication and no matter how much you explain the process of a hypnotherapy session they’re intent on total sabotage of their session.

On occasion, I can feel my face turning blue I’m trying that hard to get a client to accept the process of hypnotherapy, I will say to them I will get on my hands and knees and beg you to listen and accept the process. These clients are intent on proving I and hypnosis won’t be successful for them. That’s just fantastic isn’t it, you want to prove that you’re stupid enough to get to keep your problems, well done you! At the start of the article, I wrote about how when your mind is right the world will seem like a different place. What I didn’t mention is, be prepared for positive changes within yourself after hypnosis. Although you will feel better and the world will seem like a different place stupidity will hit you like a ton of bricks! The stupid, ignorant people you contact with will be completely intolerable!

Real Hypnotist

I’m a great believer in the fact that you are allowed to say or write what you like as long as it’s true.

Day in and day out I see clients who have been elsewhere for help via hypnotherapy as well as other therapies. I ask them one question have you been for hypnotherapy before, not have you had hypnosis before because if they’ve had hypnosis they would not be ringing me up to come and sort the same problem out that they’ve been elsewhere for.

I say to clients, I’m not saying I’m a fantastic hypnotherapist, I’m just a hypnotherapist that uses hypnosis like it’s supposed to be used. What I mean is, every client that comes to see me gets tested and shown that they are in actual fact in the correct state of hypnosis and not any other state. When a client experiences the correct state of hypnosis all bar none say well that was completely different from what I had with the other hypnotherapist.

You can type into any search engine, train to be a hypnotherapist, just check out the multitude of totally conflicting opinions and approaches. You would struggle to find even the correct description of what hypnosis is amongst this array. One thing for sure, they all can’t be right!

I used to say that about 65% of clients that I see have been for hypnosis elsewhere before they come to me, it’s now about 75%. This I believe has a lot to do with the fact that I’m targeting clients that are still searching to find a solution to their issues. I know if a client has been elsewhere and is still searching they are desperate to get right and are willing to follow my simple instructions.

Here’s the difference between what I do and what else is out there and being passed off as hypnotherapy. I don’t use any other therapies and never mix and match, when a client comes to me they are going to get what they’ve come for and paid for hypnosis! I believe when hypnosis is done correctly there can’t be much need for any other therapies. This does not mean that I’m saying that other therapies are of no use either.

I can remember years ago going against what was being passed off as hypnotherapy by so called teachers, this doesn’t make you very popular. In fact, I was told point blank by one individual that I would never succeed as an hypnotherapist. Sorry matey you were wrong, I knew there had to be a better way than the absolute dribble you were passing off as hypnosis and hypnotherapy. I found the better way and I can assure you I’ve never looked back.

Just stop taking cocaine

It’s considered that cocaine is not addictive, this would be correct. However, although cocaine is not physically addictive you can be sure it has what I would consider a very powerful potential to become a mental addiction. There’s barely a week goes by when a cocaine addiction client says, when I first took cocaine I was assured it wasn’t addictive. All bar none, then say, if I knew it was so addictive I would never have taken it!

On occasion, the client that attends my hypnotherapy practice for cocaine addiction hypnosis has had a rough deal from the people around them that can’t understand why they can’t just stop taking cocaine. Unfortunately, once a cocaine habit has become an addiction it’s not that easy to just stop taking cocaine. I can assure you once any person becomes addicted to cocaine, in my opinion, it’s the most difficult drug to get off and stay off!

I will give you an example of the ferocity that a cocaine addiction has once it gets a grip of a person.

A client attended my hypnotherapy practice for cocaine addiction hypnosis. This client explained that the medical people had explained to him that they were 90% certain that taking cocaine was the reason why he had developed epilepsy. After developing epilepsy this client still could not stop taking cocaine. In fact, bar none, every time this client took cocaine within ten seconds he went into having an epileptic fit falling over like a roll of carpet. This client displayed multiple scars on his face from falling over after taking cocaine. If knowing you’re going to have an epileptic fit after taking cocaine doesn’t stop a person taking cocaine this for sure demonstrates the tremendous mental addiction cocaine has.

What sort of people go for hypnotherapy

The first time I was asked this question I gave the wrong type of answer I think the person was expecting. The answer they were expecting was probably something like, those people that have addictions, fears, phobias, anxieties, addictions etc. The actual answer I gave was, at a guess, about 80% of my clients are ambitious and motivated to achieve success in anything they decide to do. As an example, an ambitious person with anxiety is not prepared to put up with anything that is going to slow them down or prevent them achieving success. On the other side of the coin, a person who has no ambition can avoid situations that make them anxious or just flop on a comfy chair all day watching TV. In a nutshell, a person who has ambition, drive and are enthusiastic about getting free from anything that is getting in their way are much easier for me to work with via hypnotherapy. If a person has no ambition, drive or enthusiasm to change it then becomes a much more difficult challenge to work with via hypnotherapy.
